V Medialab is the investment side of V-Ventures. Innovative and groundbreaking pioneering in the media industry is an essential part of Veronica. Therefore, Veronica enthusiastically supports young talent and entrepreneurs who undertake new projects in the field of media. V Medialab has invested in a wide range of innovative Dutch media companies such as Cloudspeakers, Xite, New Music Labs and more. Via various channels V Medialab will elaborate on these investments and actively put them in the spotlights they deserve.

V-Ventures has teamed up with Sanoma Digital, Telegraaf Media Group and IDG Netherlands to create an investment fund for the Dutch digital creative industry called ‘Dutch Creative Industry Fund, Creating Capital by Innovating Media’. According to DCIF, the creative (digital and online) industry is amongst the fastest growing and most important of our economy. DCIF aims to enable this growth by stimulating young entrepreneurs and investing in them to give them the means to fulfill their dreams.

Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau (ANP) (Netherlands national news agency) is the Netherlands’ largest news agency and supplies independent news to virtually all Dutch media - such as television, radio, newspapers, Internet, mobile, magazines – and the public and private sectors. As of May 2010, V-Ventures controls all ANP shares. The news agency is in the process of developing from a simple news provider into a leading information hub, and produces on average 350 to 400 items per day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ANP provides and distributes national and international news items, text message-alerts, photos, video clips and news broadcasts, graphics, radio bulletins and Teletext news. The news agency was established 75 years ago and has offices in Rijswijk/The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Brussels. ANP is an independent subsidiary within V-Ventures.
